Mt Abu / Abu Road, 22 Mar : With the aim of spreading awareness about saving water and thereby save lives, World Water Day was celebrated at the Headquarters of the Brahma Kumaris, Shantivan organised by BK Social Activity Group.

A train shaped van was decorated with variety of exhibition pictures explaining the importance of conserving water in daily lives and the significance of saving water, which was inaugurated by BK Mruthyunjaya, Executive Secretary of Brahma Kumaris, BK Bharat, Chief of BK Social Activity Group of Brahma Kumaris, BK Santosh, Incharge of Brahma Kumaris, Maharashtra Zone, BK Raj, Zonal Incharge of Brahma Kumaris Centres, Nepal etc. by waving flags.

The train will be moving in villages nearby Abu Road and Mount Abu for 8 days sharing message on the importance of saving water.

Brahma Kumaris Represent at UN World Water Day Celebrations at the House of Lords, London

London, 22 Mar : ​Sister BK Jaymini represented Brahma Kumar​i​s at the House of Lords​, while attending the United Nations​ World Water Day Celebrations. 

Hosted by Baroness McIntosh of Pickering, this event was organised by Sanskruti Centre in co-operation with Just a Drop, BPF, CIWM, DWI, and OneLess.

The theme of UN World Water Day this year was: Nature for Water – exploring how we can use nature to overcome the water challenges of the 21st century​. ​

Sister Jaymini had the opportunity to share ​spiritual thoughts on ​the nature of water, saying: “Water is one of the elements of nature. To purity the element of water human positive energy is needed.” She followed this by sharing a few meditative thoughts with the gathering.

 

Attending the meeting on behalf of the Brahma Kumaris along with Sister Jaymini, were Maria Faundez, Rajesh Khanna and Rajani Kumar.

Free Water Service by Brahma Kumaris at Railway Station, Burhanpur

MADHYA PRADESH

Altrustic and tireless services offered by Brahma Kumaris  was clearly visible at  Railway Station, Burhanpur where free water services were being offered. Understanding the importance of needs of thirst with increasing temperatures, Brahma Kumari sisters carried cans of water and helped the passengers and needy fill the water bottles and drink fresh cold water at the Railway station on a hot sunny day which was commendable and praise worthy.
